We have a vibrant Sunday School program for pre-schoolers through second grade and another group from third through fifth grade students. In Sunday School, we explore a variety of bible stories through the use of bible skills, games, art, creative drama, music, and science. In addition to the lessons held Sundays after church, the students are also engaged in singing in the junior choir with Beth Hellpap.
They also participate in other activities such as the UNICEF trick-or-treating fundraiser, ornament making at Christmas time - the birthday party for Jesus - plus white gift collection, a movie day in January, junior choir performances, and serving fellowship. The children are active participants in our church family.
In our confirmation program, the 6th, 7th and 8th grade students participate in discussions, bible study, community service, and church involvement such as decking the halls of our beautiful church, helping serve at the Lenten soup supper, scripture reading, and even hosting fellowship with their parents.
Sunday School teachers are Samantha Marquardt, assisted by Shannon Bolgrien.
For 2018-19, class will begin on September 23, 2018, using the same curriculum as last year. Sunday school will take place on most Sundays from 10:15am to 11:15am. Watch the weekly bulletins for updates.
